Who should apply for Nexus Internship?

Nexus Internship is a discipleship school birthed for Malaysians and those whom the Lord has given a heart to stand with Malaysia. If you desire to grow as an intercessor for this beloved Nation, prayerfully ask the Lord if this internship is for you!

What are the eligibility criteria to apply for Nexus Internship?

The internship is open for those who are 18 years old & above and proficient in English as the sessions are conducted in English. 

Am I eligible if I am working full-time?

This internship is specially designed as a part-time online internship to facilitate the participation of those in full-time employment. 

Do I need to be serving in a prayer ministry to apply?

No, we welcome all who desire to grow in intimacy with Jesus, in understanding of intercession, and want to learn to walk in their inheritance.

What is the application procedure?

There are three steps to submitting your application: 
1. Submit your Application Form
2. Request two referees for their submission of Referral Form
3. Make a one-time non-refundable application fee of RM50

How long does it take for me to know the outcome of my application?

You will receive an email within 14 days from your completed application. i.e. submission of application form, 2 recommendation forms and application fee.  

What is expected after I received the email notification of acceptance?

You are to proceed with payment for the Nexus Internship fee and will receive a link to access the Student Portal of Nexus Internship.

Payment

What are the fees of Nexus Internship?

The six-months internship fee is RM450, payable once you are accepted into Nexus Internship. There is a one-time application fee of RM50.

Additional cost will incur for physical meetings in KL (Orientation, Worship and Intercession Trip, and Blessings Day).

All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable. 

When do I need to pay the Nexus Internship fee?

You will be required to pay the internship fee upon receiving the email notification of your acceptance into Nexus Internship.

Do you provide scholarship and/or payment plans?

Upon receipt of acceptance letter, applicants may choose to make a one-time payment of RM450, or 3 instalments of RM150. Please email to info@nexusintership.com if you have financial difficulties and require assistance.

Duration & Structure

What is the duration of Nexus Internship?

It is a six-months online course commencing in April 2024 and ending in September 2024. There will be strategic breaks throughout the internship.

How is Nexus Internship structured?

The Nexus Internship consists of three terms - Foundations, Term 1 and Term 2. The topics covered in each term are different and build on each other. All interns will begin with Foundation classes. Foundation classes are pre-recorded teachings and interns can self-study at their own pace via the student portal. Term 1 and 2 will have live teachings from various instructors. 

What is a weekly schedule like?

Foundations: Pre-recorded teachings, Tuesday prayer room from 8-10pm (hybrid), daily devotionals and reflections.

Term 1 and 2: Monday online live teachings and small group from 8-10pm (Zoom), Tuesday prayer room from 8-10pm (hybrid), daily devotionals, and weekly reflections.

There will also be a book reading assignment during the internship. 

How many intakes are there?

There is only one intake in 2024. Application opens on Feb 1, 2024 and closes on February 29, 2024.

What are the different aspects of the Internship?

Interns can expect a rich learning environment as they engage in weekly teachings, discussions, participation in intercession sets and growing with a like-minded community. Interns have access to the Student Portal of Nexus Internship where resources and prayers are uploaded to provide daily reflections. 

How are the internship contents shared?

You will be given a link to access the Student Portal of Nexus Internship during Orientation.
